Kenyataan bahwa kita dilahirkan itu sudah menunjukkan keterbatasan kita. Kelahiran sendiri menggarisbawahi bahwa keberadaan kita meniscayakan perantaraan (dan bantuan) makhluk lain. Kita tidak "ada" dengan sendirinya, karena itu pada hakekatnya kita adalah "ada" yang nisbi atau relatif (mumkin al-wujud, possible being). Satu fakta lagi, kita dilahirkan di dunia, sebuah tempat yang relatif terbatas....

ABOUT ME :

The author obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Bonn (October 2006-December 2009), with the thesis on “The Nature of Ritual and Leadership in the Subud Brotherhood and the Ṭarīqah Qādirīyah wa Naqshbandīyah”. He completed his masters at the University of Leiden (October 2003-May 2005), with the thesis entitled “Seyyed Hossein Nasr on Science and the Reception of his Ideas in Indonesia”.
